He should DEFINATELY get attention. Not sure how the nail got there, but no matter the way the only way it should come out is by a pro who knows what they are doing! Otherwise who knows what could happen!

do not pull it out yourself. it can hook onto parts of the brain with severe repercussions. let the medical people do it.
You should get medical attention because if you were to pull the nail out it could cause massive bleeding that the nail was holding back.

I had a nail in my eyeball once. Actually it was wedged in between the eyeball and the socket. I pulled it out (first instinct) and it was fine. The eye doctor just had to clean out some debris and my eyeball was scratched a little, but not punctured.





SO in my experience, it's a good thing to pull it out and then seek medical attention.





But that's your eye, I think in other places you could bleed to death if you remove the nail.

there was a guy with a 6 inch spike in his brain, and they said that if he woul have pulled it out himself, he would have died, because the brain reacts and swells unpredictably, and they have to control it somehow in the hospital.
