Political Cross-Dressing

The last week has shown the American people that the Democrat Party and the Republican Party serve no other purpose than the accumulation of power. There was a time when Democrats stood for true civil rights. That time has passed. There was a day when the Republicans stood for borders, language and culture. That day is over.

Since Sarah Palin was selected as John McCain's running mate, the Democrats have developed overnight a deep concern over the propriety of teenage motherhood. And at the same time, the Republicans have said that if you question whether teenage motherhood is good for America, you must be a sexist. IN 24 hrs, the Republicans discarded 150 years of morality because they think it will help them gain power. In a single day, the Democrats have discovered morality because they think it will help them take the Republicans down. It's the most absurd display of political cross-dressing our country has ever seen.

The two-party system is morally bankrupt. Here's what George Washington had to say about it. ';It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration ... agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one 鈥?against another 鈥?it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption 鈥?thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.'; Over 200 years ago, George Washington, our first president knew that we would come to this point. So don't pretend that your party is fighting power for principal. They're fighting principally for power.

Nice read, but take what Washington says/agrees with a grain of salt. Quotes from Washington arrive every once in a while and its like a political placebo. People think they gain insight but its only because they are excited about it.

-----------------

Washington encouraged party formations out of a general interest of fear of conflicts and a looming unchanging stagnation.

Washington supported Alexander Hamilton over Thomas Jefferson. Hamilton's, whom was also the first Secretary of Treasury, main agenda was building a financially rich nation.

I'm not going to waste my time arguing how Washington contradicted himself; he was our first president and an excellent battle strategist. He was the lesser authority in his circle, often being outspoken or channelled by his political cabinet.DID Micheal Savage hit the nail on the head with this article?..........?
Good points- but what hypocrisy. This is the same guy that preaches hate all day and plays the left / right paradigm. The guy is getting sued for his hate speech on the radio. Save your money and send it to Habitat for Humanity or the Smile Train, or Meals On Wheels, let savage work for his own wages, isn't he always talking about welfare?
