Didn't the film ';The Life of Brian'; hit the nail right on the head in it's parody of religion ?

Especially the scene where a religion is created, a messiah is proclaimed, a schism occurs, heritics are attacked...... all within the space of a few minutes.

';He's the messiah all right. I should know, I've followed a few.'; LOLDidn't the film ';The Life of Brian'; hit the nail right on the head in it's parody of religion ?
If life seems jolly rotten,

There's something you've forgotten,

And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.

When you're feeling in the dumps,

Don't be silly chumps.

Just purse your lips and whistle. That's the thing.

And...

Always look on the bright side of life.

[whistling]

Always look on the right side of life,

[whistling]

For life is quite absurd

And death's the final word.

You must always face the curtain with a bow.

Forget about your sin.

Give the audience a grin.

Enjoy it. It's your last chance, anyhow.

So,...

Always look on the bright side of death,

[whistling]

Just before you draw your terminal breath.

[whistling]

Life's a piece of ****,

When you look at it.

Life's a laugh and death's a joke. It's true.

You'll see it's all a show.

Keep 'em laughing as you go.

Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And...

Always look on the bright side of life.

[whistling]

Always look on the right side of life.

[whistling]

Always look on the bright side of life!

[whistling]

Always look on the bright side of life!

[whistling]

Always look on the bright side of life!

[whistling]

Oh yes .... wonderful movie.

I so loved the entire Peoples Front of Judea vs the Judean Peoples Front scene ... talk about nailing it.
I love that movie. The song from the end is my ringtone.
I liked The Meaning Of Life better when they did a parody of the Catholics and Protestants.
