What is the advantage between clipped head nails and round head for air framing nailers?

buying framing nailer and want to find out which type to buy. What are advantages and disadvantages of clipped verses round head nailsWhat is the advantage between clipped head nails and round head for air framing nailers?
Don has it right... The clipped head nails take up less space, and so, you can get more of em together... but a full round head nail, does hold material better.

You will also want to look at how do you want to buy your nails.... coil nails are typically sold by the case... stick nails you can buy by the box, if you want... So, it kinda goes by how often are you going to use the nail gun.

I have a coil gun myself, Stanly/Bostitch brand, and I'm very happy with it.

Most framing nailers require about 90psi, so, you need a good air compressor too...It's ability to keep up with your nail gun will have a big impact on how well it works for you.

Good LuckWhat is the advantage between clipped head nails and round head for air framing nailers?
Dont buy a stanley or bostich if you plan to use it alot. Go for hitatchi or duo fast.

Clipped head nailers fit more nails on a strip. Round head nails hold much better, particularly in plywood.
