Hmmmm that's a hard one unless you didn't gargle after brushing.
I'd be more worried about how it would feel coming out then going in...ouch!
try finishing nails. They leave a fine finish
you should try coating them with butter they will go down easier
Next time try nails with heads on them,I don't know why but they go down smoother.
