D.I.Y HELP does anyone know what those things called to nail pin head nails flush?

Hi im doing some laminate flooring. I've decided to nail the edging down with pin nails but i want to make the nails flush to the edging.





The question is whats the thingy called to place over the nail and to hammer it flush without denting the edging?





I've been told it's called a nail punch but isn't that to make like pilot holes for the nails??

Yes it is a nail set/punch, but a 4 inch nail works very well, especially if you tap the point with a hammer to flatten it a little.
