I have never used a framing nailer and don't know which type of nail is the better choice. I'm building a shed.Whats the difference between round head and clipped head framing nails?
A ';round'; head nail is something you would use to put up paneling or baseboard or the trim around a window or door. It's considered a finish nail.
A ';clipped'; (or flat) head is used for nailing 2 x 4's or joists together or nailing plywood down to the floor or for roof decking. It's considered a rough framing nail.
